“I didn’t realise I had been playing the national game – it is not played in Ireland,” 59-year-old Eileen tells to the operating body.

This success of her came at one of the Gala Bingo club in Worthing, during a visit to her granddaughter’s christening. Good way to celebrate christening indeed. “I’ll probably take a holiday with my husband – perhaps to Spain or America – and I may go on a shopping spree,” she adds.

Members of the Worthing Gala Bingo venue have now shared in jackpots of more than £1 million in total.
