Foxy Bingo, a popular UK Bingo sitewas in deep waters after a viewer complained about its ad to the UK’s ASA (Advertising Standards Agency).

The promo shows a fox mascot smartly dressed in a purple suit, humming his way along a busy high street gathering and alluring people to join the party at Foxy Bingo, with its jingle ‘We are family’, a hit song used from the 1970’s .

The viewer stepped up to say that the catchy and colourful TV ad targeted and influenced children. However, the ASA dismissed this allegation and gave its approval to broadcast the ad. Moreover, the ad is under a scheduling restriction which means that it cannot be shown alongside any children’s program and also any program aimed at under 18 viewers.
